Reliever If the Philadelphia Phillies reach the NLCS, David Robertson might return for them.
If the Philadelphia Phillies advance to the National League Championship Series, their bullpen may receive a significant lift.
Reliever David Robertson, who was acquired from the Chicago Cubs at the trade deadline, might be available for the NLCS. After hurting his calf while celebrating a Bryce Harper home run during the NL Wild Card series, Robertson underwent a PRP injection.
Robertson said that the way he got hurt was embarrassing, but he insisted that he was making every effort to return to the field.
Zach Eflin, Seranthony Domnguez, and José Alvarado now make up the back end of the bullpen; Robertson’s return for potential NLCs would be of great assistance.
