After dispelling allegations that she and Selena Gomez had a falling out over their ties with Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber was photographed with Selena at a glamorous event in Los Angeles on Saturday.
At the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ second annual gala, Hailey and Gomez enjoyed a tender embrace that was photographed by Tyrell Hampton in addition to smiling for the cameras.
The cordial outing follows Hailey’s recent appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, when she emphasized that there is no animosity between her and Gomez.
“It’s all respect. It’s all love. … Neither of us owe anybody anything except respect. I respect her a lot, and I think there are no expectations [between us]. I respect her,” the model, 25 said of Gomez, 30.
“Everybody on our side knows what happened, and we’re good, and we can walk away from it with clarity and respect,” she continued, referencing her and Justin, 28, getting engaged in July 2018, just months after his final breakup with Gomez.
Additionally, Hailey stated that there is “no drama” between them and that she has spoken to Gomez since she wed the “Peaches” singer in September 2018.
For eight years, Justin intermittently dated the “Only Murders in the Building” actor. He was connected to numerous people throughout their breaks, including Sofia Richie and Hailey.
The Grammy winner made one final peace with Gomez in the latter part of 2017. By March of the following year, they broke up, right about the time he started dating Hailey again.
Additionally, Hailey emphasized in the interview that she never “stole” Justin from Gomez because it is not “character” for her to do so.
