Fans of Google’s Doodle games will have a Halloween treat this weekend in the form of a scary follow-up to the company’s well-liked multiplayer game Great Ghoul Duel.
Similar to the first game, Great Ghoul Duel 2 asks players to split into two teams of four ghosts and gather as many wandering spirit flames as they can. The winning team is the one who, in the allotted two minutes, gathers the most spirit flames and brings them back to its home base.
Ghosts with the most spirit flames will also gain access to unique abilities like speed increases and night vision. But take care: As teams attempt to deposit flames at their home base, they may steal them from one another.
With the addition of four new characters, two new maps, 12 accomplishment hats, and new abilities like an invincible jack-o’-lantern, the updated version ramps up the strategy and expands the gameplay.
On Sunday and Monday, the game will be available on Google’s search page. Users can either play randomly selected strangers from all over the world or send an invitation to seven friends or family members via a personalized link.
But be careful—this Google game is addictive, just like the majority of them, so you can end up making it one of your holiday haunts.
