Adidas Employee Calls Out Company Over Silence Regarding Kanye West’s Antisemitic Tweets

Adidas is under pressure to act in reaction to Ye’s recent outburst and ongoing behavior, but this time it’s not only Adidas supporters who are pressing the company.

Sarah Camhi, the firm’s director of trade marketing, recently released a public LinkedIn message addressed to Adidas and its staff pleading with the corporation to improve. Jewish-born Camhi noted that Adidas recently held its Global Week of Inclusion at the same time that Ye started expressing his contentious ideas, but failed to address them both externally and internally.

“Coming off of the adidas global week of inclusion, I am feeling anything but included,” Camhi began. “As a member of the Jewish community, I can no longer stay silent on behalf of the brand that employs me. Not saying anything, is saying everything.

It’s been 14 days since Kanye started spewing anti-Semitic rhetoric and adidas has remained quiet; both internally to employees as well as externally to our customers.”

Camhi ended her post with a statement that read, “We need to do better for our employees and we need to do better for our communities. Until adidas takes a stand, I will not stand with adidas.”

Despite reviewing Ye’s YEEZY collaboration earlier this month, the corporation has not yet responded to any of his statements or deeds. Bloomberg claims that Adidas is likely forced to answer as of right now, with a possible statement perhaps being made public today.
