Kanye West has hired yet another attorney for his divorce case with Kim Kardashian, this time, it is the lawyer that represented Melinda Gates in her multi-billion dollar divorce case with Bill Gates.
Although Ye has gone back and forth with selecting an attorney for his case, a source has said that Kanye has decided to stick with Robert Stephan Cohen of Cohen Clair Lans Greifer Thorpe & Rottenstreich LLP as his sixth divorce attorney.
Kanye has also decided to bring on Nicholas A. Salick of Salick Family Law Group, APLC as his counsel in California since his attorney is from New York.
Aside from Melinda Gates, Robert Cohen has had big clients like Chris Rock, Athina Onassis, Rupert Murdoch, and many more.
After several months of marriage tension, Kim filed for divorce in November 2021. The judge went ahead to declare her legally single in March of 2022.
Since they both signed a prenup, properties have been settled and it seems that Kim may be the major custodian of their kids, as Kanye says that she is with them 80% of the time.
Ye and Kim’s relationship has recently been packed with chaos, with the former attacking his ex-wife on social media or coming for her ex-boyfriend.
