The most notorious son of Akron, Ohio, Jeffrey Dahmer is the subject of the new Netflix series “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.”
In the 10-episode Netflix series “Dahmer,” which examines the murders and mutilations of 17 men and boys committed by Dahmer, also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster, between 1978 and 1991, the notorious serial killer who grew up in Ohio’s Bath Township, serves as the main character.
The miniseries also stars Richard Jenkins, Penelope Ann Miller, and 35-year-old Emmy-winning actor Evan Peters as Dahmer’s parents, Lionel and Joyce.
Niecy Nash plays Glenda Cleveland, Michael Learned plays Catherine Dahmer, and Molly Ringwald plays Shari Dahmer in the ensemble.
According to the Netflix show page, “Dahmer” is rated TV-MA for “substances, language, violence, nudity, gore, sexual violence, and smoking.”
