Northeastern University resumed classes on Wednesday after a package detonated on campus Tuesday, injuring one student.
The Boston Police Department, the FBI, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives were all looking into a possible reason for the incident at the university’s Holmes Hall, which canceled Tuesday evening courses and shut down part of campus.
As detectives responded to another suspected package near a major art institution, the explosion alerted nearby Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
