Charlamagne Tha God who is well known for his controversial conclusions has named 2Pac, Jay Z, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne, as the most influential rappers of all time in the global music industry.
In a round table debate, Chalamagne decided to mention his top choices for the most influential honor in the rap industry. Although he did not give an order, he named four prestigious rappers.
When someone talked about the contribution of Chief Keef who is a rapper from Chicago, Charlamagne quickly dismissed the opinion, saying that Keef’s global influence was lacking and he should not be on the list of top honors.
He said:
“I’m not going to say the order number, but there’s four: Kanye [West], JAY-Z, Pac and Wayne. The four most influential rappers of all time.” “No, you know why I don’t put Chief Keef in there? Because Chief Keef didn’t influence the world, he influenced a sound of a region. Those four people I named literally influenced people all over the world.”
Many Chief Keef fans have disagreed with his opinions, as they feel that Chief Keef is influential enough to be on the list of top honors. About 2,000 #Charlamagne tweets have gone out since he voiced his opinion.
Since he voices his opinion, Chief Keef has not replied to him, as we are sure he would be trending if he replies.
