The Western & Southern Open first-round match between Serena Williams, who is getting ready to retire, and Emma Raducanu has been delayed until Tuesday “on account of several scheduling-related circumstances,” the competition said late Sunday.

Williams, 40, and Raducanu, 19, were scheduled to perform on Monday night, but Sunday’s many weather delays prevented that from happening.

During the Western & Southern Open on Friday, August 19, 2015, at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Serena Williams defeated Ana Ivanovic, 3-6, 6-4, 6-2. Williams makes it through to the semifinals.

Williams just recently made her retirement announcement.

“I think it’s going to be an exciting match,” Raducanu told the media Sunday. “I’m looking forward to it. I think it’s an amazing opportunity to play one of the best, probably the best tennis player of all time. It’s probably gonna be my last opportunity to ever play her and I think that for our careers to have crossed over I’m really fortunate I get to play her. Whatever happens, I think it’s just going to be an incredible experience for me and something that I really will probably remember for the rest of my life.”
