Robyn Griggs: ‘Another World’ soap star & 49-year-old film actress is dead
Robyn Griggs passed away at the age of 49. She was best known for her work on the soap operas Another World and One Life to Live.
On Saturday, her Facebook profile posted a notice of her passing. The actress earlier disclosed that she had been diagnosed with cervical cancer, stating that she discovered four additional lesions last month.
On One Life to Live, which debuted in April 1991 and ran for six episodes, Griggs portrayed Stephanie Hobart. Following that, she moved to Another World, where she spent two years as Maggie Cory.
She first made an impression on the public on Nickelodeon’s Rated K, a show that featured young people reviewing movies. She was born on April 30, 1973, in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. From 1986 until 1988, it was in operation.
Later, she made appearances in the movies Hellweek (2006), The Absence of Light (2006), Dead Clowns (2004), and Severe Injuries (2003). (2010).
In 2020, Griggs was given a cancer diagnosis. When she passed away, she was receiving hospice care. In recent years, she had gone by Robyn Griggs Wiley.
There was no immediate information about survivors or memorial arrangements.
