On what would have been Michael Jackson’s 64th birthday, Prince and Paris Jackson shared touching throwback images and written remembrances of their late father on Instagram.

The superstar’s older son, Prince, 25, whose real name is Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., shared a number of pictures with his parents and siblings on social media, including Paris, 24, and Bigi, whose real name is Prince Michael Jackson II but was formerly known as Blanket.

Paris, on the other hand, added the straightforward phrase “hbd ” to a picture of herself as a little child kissing Michael on the lips and shared it to her Instagram Story.

Paris recently discussed her latest EP, “the lost,” upcoming music, and carrying the burden of Michael’s legacy despite building a name for herself as a solo artist with SPIN magazine for a cover story.

On the red carpet of the Beverly Hills Hotel’s 2022 Harold and Carole Pump Foundation Gala the week before, Paris and Prince showed their love and appreciation for one another. They smiled for the camera while holding hands.

The two have recently been spotted together at an event twice, including on their most recent outing. The siblings shared a photo of themselves together in June at the 75th Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York City to support the Broadway production of their late father’s life, MJ: The Musical.

After Michael’s death in 2013 at the age of 50, two people came forward to accuse him of sexual abuse. He was detained in 2003 on suspicion of sexually abusing children, but a jury found him not guilty after a trial in 2005. Some of his accusers’ charges and accounts were featured in the two-part documentary Leaving Neverland.
