In the Republican Primary for Florida’s 13th Congressional District, U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert is endorsing Anna Paulina Luna, and she’s letting her supporters know by way of a recently leaked robocall.
Lauren Boebert, who was first elected to Congress in 2020, has gained attention for his outspoken support of Donald Trump on the far-right. The Colorado congresswoman won her primary in June, securing the party’s nominee.
Boebert attacks Kevin Hayslett, the opponent of the Air Force veteran, calling him a “RINO” and disparaging his prosecutorial work in her robocall on behalf of Paulina Luna.
The phone call seemed to be in reaction to a recent attack ad Hayslett ran in which he criticized Luna’s immigration policies.
After receiving the coveted support from the former President himself, Boebert’s endorsement solidifies Luna’s support among Trump and his allied allies.
Her links to Trump have maintained her near the front of the pack in the GOP Primary, so such endorsements may be crucial.
On Sunday, Boebert will attend a gathering with Luna and Congressman Byron Donalds, who has lately endorsed Luna as well. Along with former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, and Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point Action, Luna has received support from these groups as well.
