Virgin River Season 4: Trailer, Casts, & Other Important Details

virgin-river-season-4

The 12 episodes of Virgin River season 4 are all available on Netflix right now, and they’re just as good for binge-watching as the former seasons.

Some fans may be shocked by the news because some series lose their appeal after a few episodes. However, one thing is certain after watching the full fourth season: Netflix is at the top of its game.

Official synopsis of Virgin River Season 4:

“Despite not knowing whether her baby belongs to her deceased husband, Mark, or Jack, Mel has a sense of optimism. For years she yearned to be a mother, and her dream is one step closer to reality,” the synopsis reads.

“While Jack is supportive and excited, the question of paternity continues to gnaw at him.”

“Complicating matters is the arrival of a handsome new doctor, who’s in the market to start a family of his own,” the synopsis continues.

“Hope is still healing from her car accident, and the lingering psychological effects of her brain injury will have profound consequences for both her and Doc.”

“Brie, intent on proving the innocence of the man she loves, unexpectedly finds herself in a closer relationship with Mike and one step closer to Calvin’s violent criminal web.

“Even as Preacher forges a new romantic connection, he can’t help but hold out hope for being reunited with Christopher and Paige.”

Virgin River Season 4 Release Date

Virgin River Season 4 was released on July 20, 2022. It is available on Netflix at the moment.

Cast Of Virgin River Season 4

Mel Monroe [played by Alexandra Breckenridge]

Alexandra Breckenridge is 40 years old and a super-talented actress. She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on May 15, 1982. She is married to Casey Hooper. They both have two kids.

After experiencing an unimaginable loss, Mel relocated to Virgin River to work as a nurse in a small clinic at the start of the series.

After a rocky beginning in the small, isolated town, Mel eventually adjusts and falls in love with Henderson’s portrayal of local veteran and bar owner Jack Sheridan.

Mel informed Jack that she was pregnant at the end of season three, although the child might not be his.

Jack Sheridan [played by Martin Henderson]

Martin Henderson is currently 47 years old. He was born on October 8, 1974, in Auckland, New Zealand.

Jack has endured the most of Virgin River’s blows during the show’s final three seasons: He was shot, suffered greatly from alcoholism and PTSD, and is unable to maintain relationships (although season three ended with Jack proposing to Mel—she didn’t respond to him).

We’re likely to learn who shot him and why in season four. We’ll also follow his efforts to gain joint custody of his twins with his ex-girlfriend, Charmaine.

Vernon “Doc” Mullins [Played by Tim Matheson]

Tim Matheson was born on December 31, 1947, in Glendale, California. The 74-year-old joined the United States Marine Corps Reserve and started acting at the age of 13 in 1961. Three children and three marriages later, Matheson wed Elizabeth Marighetto in 2018.

Matheson portrays the kindly but grouchy Doc Mullins, the town’s physician in Virgin River. Doc, who is Hope McCrea’s ex-husband and current fiancé, was saddened to learn of her serious health at the close of the previous season.

Additionally, he is Mel’s clinic supervisor and close to both Jack and her.

Dan Brady [played by Benjamin Hollingsworth]

Benjamin Hollingsworth was born on September 7, 1984, in Brockville, Ontario, Canada. He got married to fitness instructor and designer Nila Myers in 2012, and the couple has three children together: two sons and a daughter.

Benjamin Hollingsworth acts as Brady, the “bad boy” with a good heart. Brady was suspected of shooting Jack last season while also falling in love with Brie, Jack’s sister.

Brady has a history of becoming tied up in Virgin River’s drug trade, and despite his attempts to change after falling for Brie, it’s unclear how Brady will fare in season four.

Annette O’Toole as Hope McCrea

Annette O’Toole was born in Houston, Texas on April 1, 1952. O’Toole has two daughters with her longtime partner, actor Bill Geisslinger, with whom she was married for ten years.

The town’s popular mayor, played by veteran actress O’toole, was unable to go to Vancouver with the rest of the cast for season three’s production because of COVID-19 filming limitations.

Hope was sent away by the program during McCrea’s absence for season three to take care of a sick relative, however, it has been announced that Hope will return for season four.
