In honor of the debut of its Subway Series menu, Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon, Subway will give away 1 million free sandwiches.
The chain introduced 12 new sandwiches to the menu last week, calling it “the most major menu revamp in its nearly 60-year history.”
The fine print states that the first 50 customers to inquire about the deal at participating restaurants will receive a free 6-inch Subway Series sub of their choosing.
For two hours local time, or while supplies last, there is a giveaway.
The fine print states that there is a one-per-person restriction and that substitutes are not permitted.
In the meantime, a federal judge in California ruled that Subway is subject to legal action for allegedly deceiving customers by labeling its tuna items as “100 percent tuna.”
Rewind: On July 13, 2013, Subway held a similar sandwich giveaway and unveiled the Eat Fresh Refresh menu with 20 menu revisions.
