
Following the shooting of South African game ranger Anton Mzimba, Prince William is “deeply saddened.”
The 42-year-old conservationist and Head of Ranger Services at the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve in the Mpumalanga province were murdered outside his home on Tuesday night, prompting the 40-year-old royal, who is second in line to the British throne, to call for justice (26.07.22).

Timbavati praised Anton as a “rhino warrior” and declared that they are assisting law enforcement in their investigation of the slaying.
After receiving death threats, NGO Helping Rhinos confirmed Anton had been killed.
This week, the organization tweeted: “Anton Mzimba, the top ranger at Timbavati, was assassinated last night outside his house. This comes in the wake of recent threats to kill and emphasizes the constant danger facing Rangers.
We send Anton’s family, friends, and coworkers our sincere condolences during this trying time.”
