Nigeria’s President, Buhari’s Convoy Attacked By Suspected Boko Haram Terrorists in His Home Town

The convoy of the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari was attacked as it made its way near Dutsinma, in Katsina state.

The attack was made on the first leg of the convoy of cars which comprised an advanced team of security guards, protocol, and media officers.

The team was en route ahead of the president’s visit to his hometown in Daura for the upcoming Sallah celebrations.

However, the attack from the terrorists suspected to be Boko Haram members was repelled by the armed personnel guarding the entourage.

No casualty has been recorded on both sides but two people in the convoy got minor injuries and are been treated.
