On July 21, several cell phone users received the unsettling text “RIP Oprah,” implying Oprah Winfrey’s demise. Social media went haywire.
The Internet quickly went on the prowl for the truth in order to determine whether this was fact or whether everyone had fallen for a very offensive prank.
Just to be clear, Oprah Winfrey is not deceased; she is currently healthy and alive.
People did became frightened as a result of this terrible prank because Oprah is a highly significant figure in American culture. Her work in television, philanthropy, the arts, social justice, and many other fields has improved the quality of life in America.
Many viewers were convinced by the message that something had occurred to the television personality. In fact, some people discussed the same on social media.
Oprah Winfrey, though, is still alive and thriving.
On social media, Oprah has been comparatively active. The television host frequently retweets a few tweets that speak to her. She is no longer active on Instagram, though.
She wrote about her late father, Vernon Winfrey, in her most recent post. Vernon Winfrey passed away earlier in July. Oprah recounted a few of the precious moments that she and her father had while paying tribute to him.
In addition to this, Oprah Winfrey has been keeping busy in preparation for the upcoming premiere of her biography. The role of Oprah will be played by Quinta Brunson.
