The Disney+ original film “Hocus Pocus 2” has left the production kitchen.
The live-action sequel to the Halloween classic recast Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy. The trio reprise their roles as the treacherous Sanderson sisters.
The official movie synopsis reads: “It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge.”
“Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.”
Sam Richardson, Doug Jones, Hannah Waddingham, Whitney Peak, and Belissa Escobedo, Lilia Buckingham, Froyan Gutierrez, and Tony Hale also appear in Hocus Pocus 2.
Hocus Pocus 2 is directed by Anne Fletcher and will be available for streaming on Disney+ from Sept. 30.
