Reports have it that Canadian screenwriter and film producer, Paul Edward Haggis has been arrested in Italy for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman.
It was accounted that the charges were laid against him by the unidentified victim who claimed she was forced to have “non-consensual” sexual relations over two days.
Haggis’s detention was also confirmed by his lawyer identified as who wrote;
“I am confident that all allegations will be dismissed against Mr. Haggis. He is totally innocent, and willing to fully cooperate with the authorities so the truth comes out quickly.”
