Despite her reservations, she supported her son and was eventually convinced that he was on the right track when he began earning money. Reggie Couz said on YouTube in 2017 that she was his business manager.

His Poppa Couz persona was picked to introduce the candidates for Best Male Hip Hop Artist for the BET Awards 2017 Nomination special.

His video Holy Tony “Know Your Presidents” went viral, with over 13 million views on Facebook alone.

Reggie’s overarching ambition is to influence culture and establish himself as an innovator in the entertainment industry. Reggie is from New Jersey and currently resides in Los Angeles.

Couz, a New Jersey native, has always enjoyed performing and making people laugh. He made his first Vine post in May of 2013. He quickly gained a devoted following and, at the height of Vine’s fame, had 3.9 million followers.

Reggie Couz posted his first Vine video, ‘How Producers Be…,’ shortly after graduating from high school in May 2013. It didn’t take him long before he amassed a devoted following.

In his video contents, he portrayed a variety of personalities, some of which were fairly popular among his admirers.

Mr Johnson, a music teacher who teaches the hip-hop chorus with iconigtydurx, was one of his most well-received acts.

He created his YouTube account in October 2013 and released his first video in April 2014.

In 2018, he had about one million followers on the site and nearly 100 million views. He also has roughly 90,000 Twitter followers, 2.1 million Instagram followers, and 1.3 million Facebook fans.

Couz has taken music lessons and is formally trained in music.

He received early training at the Cicely Tyson School of Performing and Fine Arts, East Orange, where he learned classical music in different languages including Spanish, German, Italian, and Russian.

After graduating high school, he enrolled at the University of Philadelphia to study music but dropped out after one year.

When he became a comedian on social media, he decided to incorporate his music into his act. It proved to be a good decision as some of his songs, including Rumours and Overnight, became popular.

Encouraged, he started sharing his music on SoundCloud and then iTunes. He also began experimenting with other musical genres besides just hip-hop. He released the R&B and soul-influenced single “Maybe We Trippin” in 2018.
