The former American Idol contestant got her first shot at limelight a few years ago when her dad shared a video of her singing Lady Gaga’s “Always Remember Us This Way.”
Her popularity is also due in part, to her songs going viral on Tiktok, contesting in the American Idol, being on a show with Steve Harvey etc.
In 2021, Spencer-Smith became further known internationally when her self-released song “Fingers Crossed” reached the top 20 in numerous countries, including the US, and peaked within the top ten of the charts in numerous countries including Australia, New Zealand and Spencer-Smith’s native United Kingdom.
