In District 7, which constitutes some areas from Prince William, Stafford, Spotsylvania, and Culpeper counties, six Republicans — Bryce Reeves, Crystal Vanuch, David Ross, Derrick Anderson, Gina Ciarcia, and Yesli Vega — are contesting to take over from the sitting Democrat Abigail Spanberger.

While in District 8, which includes areas from Fairfax County, Arlington County, Alexandria, and Falls Church, incumbent Democrat Don Beyer is contesting against Victoria Virasingh.
