KK (Krishnakumar Kunnath), a popular Bollywood singer who has enchanted music fans for over three decades, has passed away. After a live performance in Kolkata, the 53-year-old singer died.

After his concert at Nazrul Manch on Tuesday, KK reportedly fell down the steps at the hotel where he was staying, and he was confirmed dead at the Calcutta Medical Research Institute at 10:30 p.m. (CMRI).
KK’s final Instagram post was made while he was still playing live on stage. “A pulsating show at Nazrul Mancha tonight. Vivekananda College is the name of a college founded by Swami Vivekananda. He wrote, “I love you all.”
KK performed in Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, and Assamese, among other languages. The singer was brought to a private hospital on Diamond Harbor Road after becoming ill. According to sources, he complained about not feeling well while playing on stage.
On the day of KK’s death, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was one of the first to express his condolences on social media. “I am saddened by the sudden death of acclaimed vocalist Krishnakumar Kunnath, better known by his stage name KK. His songs portrayed a wide spectrum of emotions and appealed to listeners of all ages. His songs will live on in our hearts forever. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and followers. PM Modi tweeted, “Om Shanti.”
“In total disbelief,” commented Pritam, a Bollywood music composer. I just found out about KK. “Please tell me this isn’t real.”
“The voice I loved the most and my tremendously gifted comrade KK is no longer,” rapper Baba Sehgal wrote. What a stunner. “Rest in peace, dear friend.”
Messages of condolences flooded in from both sides of the border. “Can’t believe the horrible news I just heard!” tweeted Pakistani musician Shafkat Amanat Ali on Twitter. KK, the singer, is no longer with us! It’s startling and heartbreaking. It just doesn’t ring true. What a voice! #KK” May he rest in peace.
KK was regarded as one of Bollywood’s best singers. In several films, he sang a number of hit songs. Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai (Gangster), Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil Se (Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam), Awarapan Banjarapan (Jism), Aankhon Mein Teri Ajab Si (Om Shanti Om), and Khuda Jaane are some of KK’s most popular songs that remain his best tunes (Bachna Ae Haseeno). His song Yaaron, which was published in 1999, made him famous.
