The National Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) has disclosed its plan of partnering with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to curb any form of vote-buying in the 2022 Ekiti gubernatorial election.
The development was disclosed by the chairman of the electoral body identified as Mahmood Yakubu when he was addressing some traditional rulers on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti ahead of the election in the state.
Yakubu added that the electoral commission will ensure a peaceful, free and fair election in the state.
