
Reports have it that the Lagos state government has declared Monday to Wednesday as a public holiday.
Following the Federal government announcement which declares that Monday and Tuesday should be used to celebrate this year Eid-el-Fitri which collided with Workers’ day, the Lagos state government released a statement approved by the head of the service identified as Hakeem Muri-Okunola which explains that an extra day has been added to the holiday.
According to Hakeem, all workers are encouraged to stay safe during the celebration as they are to resume duties on Thursday, 5th May 2022 at exactly 8:00 am.
