Reports have it the Federal Government of Nigeria has received a total of three million vaccine doses from Italy.
It was accounted that the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) received the vaccine at Abuja on Monday (April 11, 2022).
The development was confirmed by the Italian Ambassador to Nigeria identified as Stefano De Leo who stated that the Italian government “remains committed , along with other European Union members, to support Nigeria’s vaccine needs, with the aim to help to expand global vaccine coverage.
Stefano Deo added that “Providing single-shot vaccines reduces logistical challenges and ensures a faster achievement of Nigeria’s Government vaccination goals.”
