According to TMZ, Saturday Night Live cast member Kenan Thompson and his wife Christina Evangeline have divorced after nearly 15 years together and 11 years married. They’ve been separated for almost a year, but they’ve maintained a pleasant relationship while co-parenting their two girls.
According to TMZ, the couple has grown apart since Kenan spends most of his time in Los Angeles filming his NBC comedy Kenan, while Christina stays in New York City. In 2011, the couple married at Atlanta’s Georgia Aquarium.
It’s always heartbreaking to learn that a long-term relationship has ended, but it’s encouraging to see them remain cordial and not publicly feud. People grow apart as their lives progress in various directions, and being famous doesn’t make you immune to this.
