Reports have it that Sen. Ademola Adeleke has finally emerged as the winner of the Osun People Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial election held in the state capital, Osogbo on Tuesday (Mar. 9, 2021).
This is coming days after Nigerian singer, Davido took to his Twitter page to reveal that some thugs have been brought into Osun to disrupt the just concluded primary election which his uncle, Senator Ademola won.
The result was declared by the deputy governor of Bayelsa state who doubles as the leader of the PDP national congress committee identified as Senator Lawrence Ewurujakpo who stated that Sen. Ademola had a total of 1887 votes while his opponent, Mr. Sanya Omirin achieved just 4 votes.
