Reports have it that the National Drug and Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has brought suspended DCP Abba Kyari and six other accomplices before Justice Emeka Nwike of the Federal High Court, Abuja on Monday (7th, Mar. 2022) over an alleged drug deal.
It was reported earlier that the anti-drug agency declared Kyari wanted after he failed to honor an invitation to their office for questioning over for his apparent involvement in a cocaine drug deal.
Abba Kyari was arraigned alongside six others identified as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Sunday Labuan, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Bawa James, Inspector Simon Agirigba, Inspector John Nuhu, Chibuinna Patrick Umeibe, and Emeka Alphonsus Ezenwanne.
The suspended DCP was brought to court days after the federal government of Nigeria approved the United state of America’s request to hand over him for an alleged connection to Instagram socialite, Hushpuppi’s fraud case.
