All Nigerian Airlines Will Shut Down In Three Days Over Aviation Fuel Scarcity: Air Peace

CEO of Air Peace, Allen Onyema

One of the biggest Airline companies in Nigeria identified as Airpeace has disclosed that all Aviation companies in the country will be shutting down in three days.

This is coming days after it was reported that airline companies have declared their intention of ceasing their operation due to the scarcity of aviation fuel in the country which is affecting their operation.

The development was announced by the chairman of Airpeace – Allen Onyema who stated that the hold off in operation of all aviation companies is not a threat as he added that airlines seek licenses from the federal government which would permit them to import fuel themselves.

According to Onyema’s words, he said;

“We have only three more days, all airlines in Nigeria will shut down. We are not threatening this country, it is a fact.

“I have the mandate of all airlines to demand that Airlines begin importation of fuel, if we can buy planes of millions of dollars, we can also import fuel ourselves. Let NNPC give Airlines licenses, we want to import ourselves”.
