Tragedy hits the entire Bollywood industry as a veteran Indian singer identified as Lata Mangeshkar was announced dead at age 92.
The deceased reportedly died in a hospital in Mumbai, India with symptoms that were linked to Coronavirus.
The death of Lata Mangeshkar was announced by India’s prime minister, Narendra Modi who took to his Twitter page to share his grief over the singer’s death.
In his words, he wrote;
“I am anguished beyond words,”
“The kind and caring Lata Didi has left us. She leaves a void in our nation that cannot be filled.”
