Reports have it flying that Lagos state polytechnic has officially upgraded to Lagos State University of Technology.
The tertiary institution which was upgraded by the executive governor of the state, Babajide Sanwo-olu has been officially approved by the National University Commission.
The new development was confirmed by the Chief press secretary to Sanwo-olu, Mr. Gbenga Akosile who took to his official Twitter page to announce the governor’s arrival at the university commission at Abuja for the official recognition and collection of certificates for the new State Universities which has been signed into law.
Gbenga’s Tweet reads;
“Arrival of Gov@jidesanwooluat the National Universities Commission, Abuja for the official recognition and collection of certificates for the new State Universities recently signed into law. The Exec Sec of NUC Prof. Abubakar Rasheed received the Governor and his team”
