Days after Moses Oko the killer of his girlfriend who doubles as a 300 level Unijos student was arrested by the police, he was brought before a high court in Plateau state for his trial where he went dumb during the court session.
It was reported earlier that the suspect who is just aged 20 killed his girlfriend, Jennifer, and plucked out her eyes for money ritual purposes in a hotel room in Jos and he fled to Plateau where he was later arrested as he disguised himself like a madman.
Moses Oko was brought before Hon. Justice S. P. Gang of the Plateau State High Court on Monday, (Feb. 21, 2022) where he was called to move into the witness box to take an oath before his trial begins in full then the clerk called his name which he never responded to as he keeps mute without saying a single word.
While everyone tries to figure out what would have happened to Moses Oko because he was seen speaking perfectly before he arrived into the courtroom then his lawyer identified as N. E Jesse told the bench that the heavy allegation slammed on him is making him mentally unstable.
According to the defense lawyer’s words, he said;
“It appears the weight of charges slammed on him is too heavy for him to bear and as a result has developed imbalanced mental conditions,”
