Heather McDonald: Comedian Collapses on Stage After a Covid Joke, Rushed to the Hospital

Heather McDonald was rushed to the hospital on Saturday night, after passing out on stage and fracturing her skull.

“I’m vaxxed, double vaxxed, boosted … and flu shot and shingle shot and haven’t gotten COVID and Jesus loves me most,” Heather reportedly said (according to eyewitnesses reports to TMZ).

What followed that joke, her second for the night, was a collapse the audience thought was scripted; until it was clear she wasn’t getting up.

An EMT and a nurse who were among her audience rushed to the stage and administered first aid to her. Before she was driven to the hospital and tests confirmed a fracture from the fall.

Heather is an American comedienne, actor, and writer. She is best known for her appearance in the E! series, Chelsea Lately, and her first book, a memoir that was featured in The New York Times’ Bestseller’s list.
