The Ikeja electricity distribution has released an open statement to address the recent outage in some affected parts of Lagos state.
According to the electricity company, the outage was due to the load shedding by a transmission which led to the reduction in the generation of sufficient power supply.
It was reported that areas like Iju, Abule Odu, Egbeda, Oregun, Anifowose, Ago, Okota, Oke Afa, Ajao, Amuwo, Ikosi, Mende, Ogudu, Baruga, Oworo, Gbagada, and Ilupeju were affected and a technical solution is presently ongoing to correct the situation at hand.
