New Burkina Faso Head Of State, Lt. Damiba Gives First Speech After Military Takeover

Following the report that the army has taken over the government in Burkina Faso due to the increase in the rate of bandits terrorizing the country and the president’s inability to stop them from creating more havoc, the man behind the apparel gives his first speech.

The coup was led by an army officer identified as Lieutenant Colonel Paul-Henri Damiba who disclosed that he would put things back in constitutional order when things fall into place.

Damibia made his first official speech days after taking over the government as the new head of state as he calls on international communities to render help to Burkina Faso during her present hard time of crisis.

According to his speech, he said;

“When the conditions are right, according to the deadline our people will define in all sovereignty, I promise to return to a normal constitutional order”

“I call on the international community to support our country so it can exit this crisis as soon as possible.”
