A postman was captured by a doorbell camera as he ignored an old woman, who fell at her doorstep, in heavy snow, and has been calling for help for about 20 minutes as she was unable to get up.
72-year-old Patricia Stewart, a pensioner, has been suffering from a bone disease known as osteoporosis.
The postman identified as Thomas McCafferty and working with Royal Mail came to her but to her shock, said he couldn’t help her up and into her house because he was too knackered.
He then proceeded to leave her in her state, without offering to call someone else to assist her.
Patricia Stewart who might have died in the freezing snow if left unattended to, said she felt dizzy and fell, sustaining a lump in her head after the fall.
