Is there something NASA recently saw…or maybe it’s still sketchy, because shortly after the launch of the most powerful telescope ever built, the space agency is asking theologians and priests to study how human beings will react to the existence of alien life and its impact on religion.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration recently saddled 24 theologians with the project.
Rev. Dr. Andrew Davison, a religious scholar from the University of Cambridge is one of those selected for the assignment, and the conclusion from his research will be due and be published in his book titled “Astrobiology and Christian Doctrine”, to be released in 2022.
The handshake between the US space agency and religion is definitely note-worthy.
In his book, Rev. Dr. Andrew Davison stressed the need to study the implications of detecting alien life beforehand, whether humans get successful in the quest or not.
