Kaduna Govt. Approves 6 Billion To Upgrade Hospitals


Kaduna state government has approved the sum of 6 billion naira to upgrade hospitals in the state which was part of the budget which has been endorsed into law by the governor, Nasir El-rufai.

The state-approved the total sum of 278.6 billion naira with a total breakdown of how the funds will be allocated.

It was reported that 15.7 billion naira will be disbursed for the health ministry as a capital expense while 282.9 million will be allotted for the building of isolation centers, and other general health emergency scheme.

Furthermore, 7.4 billion naira would be expended on the ongoing formation of a 300-bed specialist hospital in the state while 17.4million naira will be used to acquire a blood bank refrigerator which will be used for blood transmission services.

Other allocations on the budget were judiciously stated as the state set to begin its action on the proposed plans.
