The National Football League has announced the death of John Madden, who passed-on on Tuesday morning, aged 85 years old.

“We all know him as the Hall of Fame coach of the Oakland Raiders and broadcaster who worked for every major network, but more than anything, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. John Madden was an American football coach and sportscaster. He was also the head coach of the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons (1969–1978).
Born on April 10, 1936, John left coaching at 42 years old and started broadcasting where he soon became known for his slangs during games broadcasts.
He was also a sports analyst, winning 16 Emmy Awards for best sports analyst and personality.
