An 18-year-old hijab model identified as Shatu Garko won the ‘Miss Nigeria 2021’ title after competing with 36 participants from different states in Nigeria.
The northern model from Kano state who broke the record as the first hijab model to have won this title made it to the top 8 as a partaker from the Northwest region of the country.
Shatu is widely celebrated around the country by family and fans after setting the record as the 44th ‘Miss Nigeria’.
