Fuel Price Increase: NLC To Protest Nationwide On Feb. 1st


The National Labour Congress (NLC) has announced its plans to protest nationwide if the federal government increases the price of fuel.

The protest was proposed to take place in Abuja on the 1st of February, 2023. The strategic development was announced by a statement signed by the union chairman, Mr. Aliyu Wabba which partly reads;

Pursuant to its rejection and resistance of further increase in the price of petrol, to organise protest rallies in all the 36 States of the Federation on Jan. 27, 2022.
