The Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Restitution for victims of SARS have concluded and released their report on their findings concerning the alleged events that happened at the Lekki Tollgate during the #endsars protest.
In the report which was presented to the Lagos State Governor – Babajide Sanwo-Olu, a comprehensive list was contained of the details (names, gender, and location) and the number of people that were killed, injured, or missing during and after the protest.
The report referred to the killings that took place as a massacre.
“The atrocious maiming and killing of unarmed, helpless and unresisting protesters, while sitting on the floor and waving their Nigerian flags, while singing the National Anthem, can be equated to a massacre in context”.
