A 35-year-old Nigerian man identified as Nnamdi Ilias Akabueze has been arrested by the police in India after heroin worth N276,408,117.80 was caught in his possession.
The DSP of the district where Nnamdi was arrested disclosed a statement which reads;
“On Monday, secret information was received by constable Pramod through an informer that a Nigerian national, who was indulging in the drugs racket, came near a Chhath puja park in Mohan Garden after which a raid was conducted and the man was apprehended with the drugs consignment,”
The DSP said that the police are still on the lookout for those involved in the deal with him.
