Top Nigerian model, Agbani Darego took to her Instagram page to celebrate the moment she won the title ‘Miss World’ 20 years ago.
Agbani Darego became the first Nigerian and African to win the title ‘Miss World’ on the 16th of November, in the year 2001.
She won this indigenous position at the age of 18 after contesting alongside 93 contestants from all over the world which was held in South Africa.
The model posted the video of the moment she was crowned 20 years ago by an Indian actress, Prinyaka Chopra. She captioned it;
