The governor of Rivers state, Wike, was present at the opening and commissioning of a police station in Port Harcourt.
He commended the police for their good work in trying to make the country a befitting place to live in. However, he queried why most police stations are always unkempt.
“Why is dirtiness a sickness anywhere the police live?”; prompting the Inspector General of police who was present at the occasion to promise to supervise the station himself.
