The state of Oregon in the United States is set to see an increase in the number of organizations mandating their employees to compulsorily get the Covid-19 vaccine in the coming weeks.
The Employment department said the reason for the new Covid mandate was to comply with either Federal, State, or local health regulations.
It is estimated that about a third of the population will get vaccinated as a result of the new Covid mandates.
The reason for the new mandate was to further reduce the spread of the virus which has seen a decline comparatively, though it is been feared that the start of the flu season might bring uptick increase in new cases.
However, there are speculations of impending job losses which might be massive, if a lot of people opt to lose their jobs instead of getting the Covid vaccines either due to religious, health or personal beliefs, like Allison Williams, the ESPN reporter.
