The CEO of MTN Nigeria, Karl Toriola, has announced that their customers will receive a full refund of whatever amount of airtime and data they spent on October 16, 2021, from 12 noon to 7.00 pm.
He said the reason for the free gift to all subscribers was to compensate them for the bad network experienced on October 9.
He stated that the reason for the poor network experienced the previous week was a technical fault that made all 4G subscribers go to 3G, causing an overload and a subsequent crash of the entire system.
While we cannot give you back the time you lost on Saturday, we can give you back what you spent yesterday, Karl Toriola said in his speech.
