Former footballer, Jean Pierre Adams has died at the age of 73 after spending 40 years in coma.
Adams underwent a knee surgery and was given anesthesia during the operation, he suffered bronchospasm and went into Coma which he never recovered from.
Adams played for the French National team and also had a stint with PSG , Nice and Nimes.
Nimes announced his death on their Twitter account.
“We learned this morning of the death of Jean-Pierre Adams,” Nimes wrote on Twitter, extending their “sincere condolences to his family”.
Adams was a key player for France in the 70s.
