Ever since the announcement of a possible change of the country’s name from Nigeria to UAR which stands for the United  African Republic, the whole country has been thrown in a state of shock which has resulted in a comic atmosphere too.


We Know living in UAR is going to be quite interesting and different and that’s why we thought to tell you a few things you need to know about UAR.


1. Expect Cows As Your Neighbour 
 With the constant increase of cattle on the highway in recent times, we have come to the conclusion that in UAR, we will actually be seeing a lot more of them. So watch out for your new neighbors too.

2. After NYSC You might go to War
Since the Nigerian government has pronounced that graduates can be drafted to join the army. We are definitely sure that this development will be enforced in the UAR. So get prepared you might just be the next graduate to get recruited into the army.


3. Citizens who live in UAR will be called Uranium.
Just the way people who live in  Nigeria are called Nigerians, people who live in UAR will be called URANIUM. Now, this is actually very funny, to be honest.

4. Social media would be closed at a particular time.
Since there are lots of talks and even a ban on our favorite social media platform Twitter, Just expect that by 1pm or so everyday, all social media platforms will be closed. If Twitter can be ban in Nigeria that means social media can be banned totally in the new UAR.

Conclusion:
We hope UAR is a good place to settle in, but then we did not make up these facts just to scare you but to make you smile and give you a comic relief of what being a Uranian is like.
